Pasture-raised lamb

Our lambs are born in the spring and raised on mother's milk and grass.  Once the grazing season is over, the ewes and any over-wintering lambs eat top-quality second-cutting hay.
We almost never feel the need to feed supplemental grain; we never use hormones, and we only use antibiotics in an emergency to save the life of an animal.
